Governing the country, and/or working for the benefit of the country is neither easy nor quite much of fun...

I have read an article about someone complaining to the government his/her situation in some place, his condition and who he/she blames for it..D@mn those PEOPLE who sarcastically blames the government for their hardships and their shortcomings..D@mn those PEOPLE who complains about disciplinary actions put into legal basis..And d@mn those PEOPLE who use OTHER PEOPLE just to bring their political dreams to the streets..Im actually ashamed of Filipinos who DON'T understand the LAW and yet keep on complaining whenever they are being punished by our law enforcers..

Somehow, I do understand where the anger and hurt are coming from from, but please before we comment on such things, let us learn what DEMOCRACY means..what being a REPUBLIC means..what does the law and constitution imply to every action (and Im sure not everyone know the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines - which is a prerequisite in college)..let's learn about the ways and means of a proper and righteous legal proceedings before complaining..LIFE WOULD BE BETTER FOR EVERYONE if we even care to LEARN...THE PHILIPPINES IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY GOVERNED BY LAWS...

Let us all be FILIPINOS by heart...by means..by belief..There is actually nothing wrong about complaining, but it's the way we complain..we complain too much..we complain selfishly.. and sometimes we complain the wrong way..DISCIPLINE.RESPECT.WIT..it's not really hard to do..

The return..

Just returned from a very long blog vacation..i realized that there are still too much of so many things that I have in my mind to let go.. i really can;t just ignore my wild conscience and imagination to myself..

The Philippines at this Point (the Political arena just got better and the next round is on)..

We have a new President, Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III, only son of former President Corazon Aquino and f=the late national Filipino icon for freedom Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr.. he won the ballots and the trust of majority of the Filipino people.. I myself admit that I didn't vote for him..but still, I consider that the election result of the very first automated election was highly successful..

Another successful politician is my idol, elected Vice President Jejomar Binay. I consider him as a great politician because of the great things things he did in the city of Makati but also in the way he use the resources of the business capital of the Philippines.. he has built and renovated useful and beneficial establishments that can be used by the Makati residents.. I really do hope he can do it all over the Philippines..no matter what his detractors say about him, he will always be the Mayor Binay that made my dreams possible..

Overall, the Philippines is at its stage of a renewed Political arena, and another round is set for the competitors to fight..at the end, the sacrifice is brought to the voting people themselves..the word politics has become a great word when it comes to power..I hope President Noy can put his words into action..I can't wait to see who will win and loose this battle..

The Metro's Inconveniences..

I was going to work the other night, when I felt the great inconvenience of the lack of initiative of some people...One, is the LRT Line 1 (or Yellow Line as they call it)... It took me 10 minutes to wait for a train to arrive, which really is a shame considering this happens every now and then.. I don't know what it takes for the LRT train to go from one station to another considering stations are not more than 5km away from one another...this is not really good if your are trying to avoid getting late to work..inconvenience..

Second, The trouble traffic at EDSA-Taft Intersection..I actually think that the cause of this irritating heavy traffic is the bottle neck situation approaching the MRT Taft Station..and a lot of Jeepneys and buses loading and unloading at certain areas..a great inconvenience for passengers trying to go to work at an early morn..

Last, The Floods in different areas..unlike before, a little rain won't really hurt...but now, a little rain causes a lot of floods within the Metro..I was going home one day, when rain poured and quickly made the water rise in the streets..it took me 2 and a half hours to go home as contrast to my One hour travel..I really blame everyone's negligence for this problem..our mindless throwing of trash anywhere has caused severed blockage in main canals and esteros all around the Metro..and here we are trying to complain to the Government to do something..when the fact is, we, ourselves can;t anything to change our neglectful attitude..

Im not complaining..Im trying to tell it..

Its almost the end of the year and there has a lot of changes so far..

been working at the Philippine Bureau of Immigration since October and I am assigned at the Computer Section (IT) , at the Network Admin Unit.. It really didn't gave me a lot of pressure since I already know the networking basics.. what thrilled me most is that I started loving (again) what i hated before, computer networking. I've learned a lot and my learning never really stops..each day i learn new things and discover a lot of tweaks..and of course I've gained new friends and learned more values..

right now I'm challenged and happily stuck with PFSense... MY VIEWS: The Philippines

THE PHILIPPINES...

The National elections in the Philippines is nearing and i think it will be one of the most interesting, colorful and intriguing elections in the history of Filipinos..

-Fatal 4-way (plus one)

I really feel that it will be a fatal four-way fight between Sen. Manny Villay, Sen. Noynoy Aquino, Ex-Defense Sec. Gilbert Teodoro, former Pres. Joseph Estarda and Sen. Dick Gordon.. As of now, Sen. Aquino is being said to be the leader of the pack and having the greatest "believers".. I found this simply amazing and very true since people are still enraged by the death of former Pres. Cory Aquino and the so alled "art and fashion of patriotism" is very much alive.. but Sen. Noynoy wants to build an image of his own and indeed he has created a very good and interesting image to the Filipinos...Sen. Noynoy is also supported by so many politicians and artists, headed by Ms. kris Aquino (whom I so much adore for being true to herself and standing by his brother's side, that's the real art of sibling love, Kudos!)..

Mr. Teodoro, in a way, seems to be a very intelligent and decent man..although he's not that popular to the public (which by the way a main criteria), he tries his best to make an impact..we will see a lot of him and hear a lot from him later on.. for now, he seems to be the grown dark horse...

One of the most i kept track with when I grew up is Sen. Villar.. i find him very much eager to seek and win the presidential seat and Im thinking that he will be as dedicated as he can be later on..I admire his vision and his anticipation..

Pres. Estrada have had his chance but some people blew it out..i don't know the truth cause what we see is not always what we get and what we watched on television is not really something we can believe into..

There is no question that this competition will be a very stiff one..Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay, Ex- MMDA Chair Bayani Fernando, Sen. Mar Roxas and actor Edu Manzano (also the former Vice-mayor of Makati) being the aspirants (not wannabes)..

I would point it out that Binay has done a lot ( and i mean a lot) of improvements in Makati and is very much impressive.. He has established well-structured schools and i am one of those lucky enough to study in the less expensive and high-standard education of Makati.. I've seen so much that I want more..im eyeing for Mayor Binay..and I wish he won cause a lot of improvements could be waiting in line with him as VP.

Mr. Fernando on the other hand really is into change.. he has made some improvements to DISCIPLINE not only the drivers, but also the pedestrians and the passengers alike.. i don't honestly find anything wrong with his ideas but it lacks sympathy from the people.. i hope Pinoys can somehow appreciate DISCIPLINE, and ORDER as a main criteria for improvement..

Life is great..

Something big is coming for me.. Im so excited and I really hope that everything goes well...

Relationships..mine is on the verge of breaking down.. i feel so depressed yet Im happy for me and my girlfriend's relationship really 'went' well and we're both happy during our relationship..

St. Pio of Petrelcina has really made a big impact for me.. I've been praying for Him lately and miracles do happen.. This something big about me s something I asked from God with his Intervention..I want to devote myself to Padre Pio sometime later..

My political side has changed...I was really eying Mayor Binay.. but things may not be so mature for him.. I instead take my attention to Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.. I see the guy working so well during Typhoon Ondoy's disastrous hammering in Luzon and Metro Manila.. speaking of which, according to Philippine weather forecasters, it is the biggest and most rainy day in 42 years and personally, have never seen it..the rain never stopped all Saturday long (september 26, 2009)..There were reports that even places in the Metro that never usually experience flooding, felt the horrifying moment when floodwater rushed into their home.. floodwater that are almost as high as 2-storey houses.. I hope Sec. Gibo can really make people satisfied and happy being in charge of the disaster council..

I tried to watch Glee while waiting for a WWE PPV to air.. I find the show beyond entertaining and it is very interesting.. I can feel that it will be my next addiction (next to Smallville and Alias)..

I got to watch a glimpse of the fun-run conducted by GMA Network recently at Global City... I find the event very promising and seeing President-wanna-be politicians joining forces to fight election controversies, allegations on cheating, and massive vote-buying... Some politicians I saw there was Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay (whom is my bet), Senator Richard Gordon, Senator Mar Roxas, Senator Jamby Madrigal (whom I starting to like a little) and of course, former President Erap Estrada...Wow, its a vry historic event..kudos to GMA Network and its partners for next years elections..

Jeff Hardy's profile and entrance video was removed from the WWE website...

TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen

I recently watched the blockbuster movie Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen on special screening at the Robinsons Movieworld Cinema 3..

THE BEST.. One aspect that the movie is well enough is the effects.. i find the alien robots so realistic and very detailed..another is advertising..They are all over the lace, from posters, (had a little one in my room), billboards, tumblers (which i bought @ 7-11), key-chains (as a free toy in a hotdog brand), t-shirts, toy stores, newspapers, and in every magazine show there is..This is somehow the best movie next to Titanic...Shia is funny, and a very good actor, ive seen him in some movies and definitely, he landed on a good sot.. and Meagan Fox is so HOT...

One thing i don't like about the movie is Drama... nahhh

And I find the movie a SHOW OF WEAPONRY and POWER of the United States.. ive watched Eagle Eye, followed Alias and watched Black Hawk Down.. but Transformers 2 just surprisingly is an exercise of what the US can do with their array of weaponry.. they are beyond edgy...

Iloilo...

I had a trip to our native province, Iloilo, last week... it started off at waiting for about 30mins delay of flight..anyway im with my father and we're not in a hurry so its okay.. what's enlightens me is that the plane actually looks good and comfortable..not to mention, affordable..

we landed at Iloilo Airport 45 mins later.. the airport looks good and very well maintained..

my uncles were the ones who fetched us..and showed us the way to the Municipality of Calinog where my grandfather and some of my relatives were a native of..its very amusing knowing that 25% of this municipality's people is my relative at some way..

Iloilo is the home of beautiful old, antique and well-maintained spanish-era churches.. the old stones used were still noticeable and strong..

Iloilo is also the home of good food.. like the infamous La Paz Batchoy, Molo Soup, and some delicacies..

I've been to many provinces and places in the Philippines.. so far.. nothing beats the place of my ancestors.. ILOILO..

Happy New Year to All!!(although is too late)... i'm very much excited yet nervous about this year..everyday seems to be a roulette waiting where it should stop and you wouldn't know what you will get..and I guess I'll be out for quite some time.. but i'll check up on things little by little..

Pretty much 2009, will be a new year for my family... we will be moving to a new house...and everything seems to be quite messed up a bit but i can see everyone is in their inner self, except me.. im feeling a bit loose and can't find my track back.. been reading books, listening to music, going out with my girlfriend... but things seems just a little bit foggy for me.. i can't find my way to the right track..

January 19, 2009, will be a very sweet, romantic, and blessed day for me and my girlfriend.. we will be celebrating our first year anniversary.. and im doing things the simple way.. i don't like to make things so extravagant and i know its not yet a proper time to hurry up things..i think i'll just make her happy and feel loved..

Im expecting a lot of good movies.. Transformer 2, Wolverine, and an Underworld movie are some movies I would like to see..

I also has one wish for 2009, i want to meet Bob Ong.. ask him a few things and tell me some of the greatest learnings in life... im so addicted to his books and he has inspired me..

I really do hope 2009 willbe a blessed and fine year not only for me but for everybody.. but what do we know.. Life goes on...

2008 is been a very Blessed, colorful and fun-filled year for me... Great thinngs happened in my life (I still have the love my of my life, Kath..I graduated from college...got work and released..worked again and took the exam..-still waiting though, and more blessed things in my life).., but also got some bad news ( my grandmother died)... but still, a year won't be a year without 365 days or more with exciting happenings and events...

Pugad Baboy (Pig's Nest)

October was quite a month for me.. I celebrated my 21st birthday... but during that month I found myself really into the famous and humorous-yet-sensible comic strip of Pol Medina Jr. called Pugad Baboy. I really find it amazing how he create humor out of the current issues, events, and everything that i find too serious to laugh at.. I found the comic strip collection very mature and responsive cause it really makes me think and laugh...

and then there was Bob Ong...

I'm really into Bob Ong's Novels and books... it was first introduced to me by my college friend, Salve.. but for quite sometime I find it uninteresting.. lately, my aunt introduced it to me again.. and even let me borrow some of her books by Bob Ong.. I find the book exciting and mysterious, as how mysterious is the author cause I have never really seen him on tv amidst the popularity of his creations.. I first read MACARTHUR, a novel about four young boys and their journeys as young men who has these street vices of a deppressed area, specifically in Metro Manila... its main characters are Noel, Voltron, Jim and Cyrus.. the stiry is just exciting, violent at some point, humorous, slang, and very interesting... the second one that I read is Alamat ng Gubat, which at first if you will lokk at its cover, you would think that its a book for children considering how the illustrations are drawn.. its about a little crab named Tong in a mission to find a banana heart (puso ng saging) to cure his ill father.. but in his journey he will meet a lot of character 9with an attitude, yeah you heard it right, characters with an attitude) and will turn to a story that I find like a story on TV drama...the story is about a story inserted to another story then a character makes another story until it ends to a different story.. that's how ineteresting it was.. hehhe... Bob Ong is really humorous, he should be a stand-up comedian or some sort...

Im currently reading Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas (which is The favorite book of Judas in english)...

Bob Ong is not all of a humor guy, if you will read and understand his writings, you would know that it is very sensible and intellectual... Thunbs up for BOB ONG...

Its November and its just getting rough for me. I feel like November is not really my thing.. hmmpf.. first one of our laptops malfunctioned... i had my mind-blowing and fair civil service exam and which hope i pass... but of course how am to forget that November also add a little spice in my life which makes it easier for me to handle burdens..

Grief, Me, and Gratefulness

My grandmother died last Saturday due to a complication brought by her illness, which is Diabetes.. the family were quite shock but spiritually ready.. she was hospitalized for a month.. she died 20 mins before her birthday (she was born on September 7, 1931, and died on September 6, 2008 at exactly 11:40PM... we all knew that this sad time would come but not this early.. things are just so not in the right place... but we have to accept that she's gone and peacefully with our Lord...

She left seven children, and 11 grandchildren...

Approximately two months from now we will be transferring to a new home.. Its quite messy right aren't the same.. i have been emotionally battered this past few days...

I guess things would return to normal after all of these..

Anyways, my family would like to thank the following for helping us and giving us all the kind of support during my grandma's hospitalization, wake and burial:

Hmmm... I really got this urge to post something in my blog.. I consider August as one lucky month for me.. so optimistic...

I'm feeling happy right now with the ways that are going on.. I have been just released from my contract at a computer programmer outsourcing company... I wish to thank all the people there for understanding my condition and reasons.. Thanks Guys..

Right now, Im working for my aunt at the legislative branch, and waiting for me to get the recommendation letter from one of the congressmen so that I may be appointed to the specific job Im suited.. Also, Im currently applying to take the Civil Service Exam.. and fixing my name.. and finalizing my requirements and all.. phew!..

my love life, I can say, is going great, though its not like before me and girlfriend get to see each other regularly.. she's been working and im too busy running my things.. we got to see each other, but to a specific time.. God, i wish we could be with each other forever.. i can't wait... but Im to grateful cause she's so understanding and I trust her...

The State of the nation Address of our President just finished.. She just said some things regarding the status and her future project for the country,, what's bugging me is that people and her government lacks total understanding and cooperation of the both sides.. that's why we lack progress in the Philippines..

Depression, Career, and Me

Wow... its been almost two months since i last posted something here in my blog.. and I have been receving anonymous comments from my friends.. hehehe..

I have been totally depressed over the past few days.. having this dull feeling of emptiness and loneliness for quite a time.. the only thing that makes me happy and chill is my girlfriend, Kath.. she's been so supportive to me and to my decisions, being there always and telling me not to give up.. and Im so happy for her getting that IT staff job in one of the top banks in the country..

Im currently "under contract" and in "floating status" at one of the country's outsourcing companies and has the title of a VB.Net Trainee/Employee... although I have not yet started any work since the last day of our training (May 8, 2008)... I have undergone three interviews (one in a large telecommunications company, one in a major construction/engineering facility, and one in a credible and large bank).. but all of them says one thing... I may have been confused or want to continue my computer networking career instead of pursuing a career under the soft side... this get me to thinking.. Did i make the right decision in signing the contract under the company? ... Usually, im not the type of person who regrets one thing for everything.. the reason I accepted the offer is that the company promised me to take care of me, and it sounded like they are assuring my place at A LARGE and LEADING TELECOMMUNICATION CORPORATION in the Philippines... that is according to the verbal agreement we had... and is stated in the contract that I've signed... I really didn'y regret signing that.. the problem is that my expectations came to a big loss... according to them, during our orientation, that there is a spot waiting for me when I signed the contract in the telecom company and requires 10 people to fill the slot.. but later during our training, our "supervisor" told us that 7 of us will get the interview and the other three are already filled in.. To my surprise the telecom company only chose 7 trainees (not including me and the other two)... I have been wondering what legal move should I do nest in case I decided to pursue my own career.. I wanted a career not a job...

On my next post, I will be uploading photos taken in our medical mission and telling you the adventurous and rainy road we travelled.. one is in Botolan, Zambales and another one in Calamba, Laguna... Im enjoying my participation in Medical Missions, and my classmates already started joining.. our nect stop, assuming that it would go forth, will be at Surigao and Iloilo..

Im starting to love studying about web designing.. i have plans to study a short course on web design and maybe a little on photoshop and flash... Im so interested in the computer world and my addiction has nade ecstatic over the latest and breaking news in IT... I would hope someday I get a chance to talk with executives of Google, Friendster, Yahoo! and Adobe... I really would like to know what made these top brands climbed the mountain of success and ask them for some advice I could get and use to in my career...

April Month-ender... the latest in my addictions and more of me

WOW...19 days of headache-ing and remorseless codes... it sure does makes my life different.. as of lately, I've undergone a four-module training for VB.Net.. under AGC Training Ctr and Software Laboratories, Inc. for PLDT... I can say that its been life-changing and quite life-threatening (hehhee.. try to spend 20 days of your life or 160 hours of your life in front of the eye-boggling and mind-cracking codes.. you'll surely feel blood clothing in your brain...phew)... one thing that's going into my mind is that how can i pass the training...I've been exposed to the hardware world and the network aspect of life, then suddenly i take a quick turn to the software side of the road.. I consider this as a career move... I can't say that I am an excellent network technician or administrator nor can say that i am not that good.. but the thing is, im interested to learn new things.. even the basic part.. I don't crave too much for things to come my way... but what Im after too is the new knowledge and the experience that i will be gaining in this part of my life...after all, I started to love programming when C++ and html came in my way.. Honestly, its quite hard but Im trying my to understand and eventually get it...

My love life has been going quite smooth and easy...and its working normally... No heavy commitments on the line, no heavy responsibility to take care off.. its just me and her.. living the coolest relationship of my life.. i really do it works for a very long time..

One SINFUL and hot, tiring day, red tape

April 8, 2008.. Wow.. I've gained a BIG sin... well, today is the distribution of grade s in our school, and whoa!, a lot of students rushed in even at 7:00 in the morning just to get and view their grades.. Me and my girl came to school at about 8:00 AM, but came to our senses that the line has reached the fourth floor of another building, coming down the basement of the admin bldg.. and it sucks...a lot... knowing some tactics of our own, we tried to sneak inside the admin bldg and telling the security guards that we will be paying our graduation fee.. we went to the cash office's line where, (take note), the line for the distribution of grades is being cut off to avoid overcrowding... Well, at past 9:00 AM, the line between the cash office and the registrar (where grades are being printed and distributed) came to a big mess, so "SOME" students, including me and my gf take the opportunity and acquiring yet another sin.. Imagining getting paid without labor.. hahaha.. what an opportunistic and strategic move, but it was so, so, bad.. so kids, don;t try this at college.. unless you need to.. harhar

After going through a lot of heat and chitchat with some classmates, we decided to go off...we went to they city hall of Makati to get myself a court clearance..but as they said, expect the unexpected... TO acquire a court clearance, you will be needing a fiscal clearance, and to do this... you will be needing to pay P50.00, get a 1x1 photo, and have it signed by a assistant city prosecutor.. whoa.. SUCH LONG PROCESS.. considering you will be needing to go a lot of floors.. but that's not it.. YOU WILL BE NEEDING TO WAIT FOR 2 days.. whoaaa...

I hope in the future, the government will reduce the processes and lessen the requirements (slashing some unnecessary ones) in getting documents and i really hope there would be a national database of all people so that there is no need to repeat the submission of birth certificates again and again in different government institutions... that's all..

Wow.. Its summer already and I can feel the heat literally...temperatures are rising up to 34 degrees, and the sad part, I don't have time to go freshen up at any beaches or swimming pools around cause of my busy sched... yes you heard it right, MY BUSY SCHED... im currently arranging my requirements for my VB.net Training at Software Laboratories, Inc..which will lead me to my employment and career.. A major decision I've made which I believe I would love and take seriously... Honestly, Im not good in Networking, why not try Programming, (i've tried C++, HTML and I got high records)..

One thing I hated about it is getting my name "fixed"... what happened is that the name I am using right now is not exactly the name that is registered at the Statistics Office.. great? huh...

Last saturday i went to the cemetry where my grandfather was laid to rest.. It was quite surprising that there are people actually visiting their beloved.. what was amazing to that is Im with my girlfriend... it was truly an amazing moment for me..

Whooooooooooooooo!

At Last, doomsday is over... I now can consider myself.... A CANDIDATE FOR GRADUATION.. just accomplished a lot of school-related things.. One, I have finished creating my static-semi-dynamic website which can be seen through this LINK (which is by the way a requirement for our WEB Administration and Management subject), I had so much fun playing with html codes, i really love computer codes (especially HTML and C++)... Two, Just got a high score on my Finals exam Social Science 2 - RIZAL's Life, Workis and Writing (I didn't expected that high score because my Midterm Exam was a total junk)... Three, I got a high rating on my presentation on my case study entitled "What is the Best Search Engine among Yahoo!, Google and MSN?", and like I predicted, it was Google, categorically.. (special thanks to Prof. Jennifer B. Sinchioco).... Four, i got a good score in our Final Term Laboratory exam, it wasn't that hard nor that easy, but it was fairly challenging..... Fifth, we just got through our defense/presentation of our case study in WAN Technology that is about VPN.. (Thanks to Prof. Ragde Falcis and his site - http://www.undergrounconcepts.co.nr for helping me and my groupmates)....

Basically now Im feeling the most of my life.. I am guided and blessed by God... I can say I am because I am fully satisfied with my life.. I don't hunger much, my family is financially stable, I love and am being loved, and I got my family and friends behind me...

My First days of 2008 life, WWE No Way Out 2008 and 2nd OF THE WEEK

Last month, just as usual we started our class.. attended one boooorrringg class with our boring and tiring professor and of course one hell of a redundant discussion with our another professor. Ican say that it is useless because we are repeating what we have already discussed (but d@mn, until now i can't figure out why I don't get his point).. any way.. we already have startted our Case Study for our WAN Technology course (subject)... and the company that we have chosen..... SYNERGY training and services... (well thanks to Bena and Roland)...

Also.. my January has been a total headache, and blessing.. headache because IT'S MIDTERM EXAMS! Horrifying.... a lot of discussions about Javascript, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver... My professor in WEB ADMINISTRATION and DEVELOPMENT is really terrific.. I really idolize her... Blessing because....(drum rolls please!!)... I've got my girlfriend!! Oh how i am inspired to do things "seriously"... Oh how I love her...

Anyways, this is damn too boring... once again the government has its cave opened for another lion-fight... and by this time, all of them are concerned.. with themselves.. last friday.. major leftist groups held a rally at Ayala... Thank God its Friday... although hundreds of people were at atendance.. this really didn't pushed the president from her office.. Naaa.. we're tired of you people quarreling and yelling your lungs out... we will wait until the 2010 elections... no better leader as of today is present than of the one sitting in Malacanang..

Children: Our Future, Let's not Abuse IT

Last Sunday, I was scanning through channel hoping to find a good TV program. I ran across a TV channel which is currently featuring a comedy show. The comedy program showcases child talents doing skits and spoofs. The segment that time is about current Philippine social and political issues where the "very young" casts do parodies. I was really stunned by how these children confidently throw out their lines and constantly does their usual funny antics. but I was also shocked on how intriguing and controversial it sounded to me. Isn't it very wrong to cast humor of issues too mature for children? Like for example, the government. Children should not be taught to deliver line too harsh for their very young minds. They might say that "Hey, everyone laughs at these jokes, I'll try to do one of my own." Aren't we kinda exploiting them to particular mature events? I may sound over reacting but its the mere fact... its OK for this show to spoof other TV shows and advertisements, but to use satirical-political lines to perform humor? no way...

Responsibility is a main problem. Parents these days are very vocal and verbal about the government. One time, I rode a public utility vehicle and overheard a father-daughter conversation. The daughter, I think might be aged 3-4 years, asked her father, "Pa, anong favorite animal mo? (Pa, what is your favorite animal?)", the father replied, "Mga congressman (Congressmen)". Isn't it very irresponsible for us to tell our daughter that a congressman is an animal? We should all be cautious on what we tell and say in front of our children. "What our children see, might be RIGHT for them."

Another thing is that, I sometimes see children participating in rallies and strikes against the government. Are the parents of these children really care for their young ones? Maybe they do because they are participating a movement for 'change'. But no! It maybe dangerous for these children to join rallies. They might get hit by thrown rocks, or even get sick because of being overexposed to heat and sometimes rain. Yeah, its good for them to be socially-aware at an early age but to be exposed to such activities, it may be 100% wrong.

Like our great national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal said, " Ang Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan (The Children are the Hope of the Nation)," Let's abuse this power of our children. Let's not teach them our ways on how to blame each other if something get so wrong or teach them that it is the government's fault that we are hungry and poor. Let's not abuse them for their understanding is very vulnerable at such a young age. Let's be RESPONSIBLE on how we act, and speak in front of our children. let our children face the world everyday with a smile on their faces; let them face the future with a new beginning of hope; let's love them and truly care for them; for our children is our future & let's no abuse it...

New Year is fast approaching... and I'm very excited about it because of so many things...

This will be the year that I finally graduate college after four long years and receive a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Network Administration. I have so many plans after my graduation... My aunt promised me a trip down to the famous island of Boracay and spent time with our relatives in Calinog, Iloilo. I want to rest for a month or so and after that, start my career.

I hope 2008 will be my year for love. I currently am enjoying my special friend Kathrina... she's funny, nice, simple, and has good looks. She's also very down-to-earth, thoughtful, responsible and caring... That's why there are so many guys out there falling for her.. I really, really wish that this will be the "it" year and she will be the "it' girl for me... labyah Kat! I really do...

I'm also looking forward to my 21st birthday (althoug its on October 14)... 21st birthday means a big party for me... I can now go to Singapore without parental consent needed by the DSWD.. (Yes!)... My Aunt is seemingly applied me for a student's permit for driving... and I will be learning how to drive (that's very cool!)... I will also be "correcting" my name... The registered name in the Statistics office is only 'Robert' but I've been using 'Robert John'... wow how pathetic... I spent 20 years being nobody at the Statistics Office..

2007 has also been a great year for me... being able to pass two semesters; finishing two consecutive thesis (one for Network Design, and another one for Network Project Management)... By the way, I would like to thank JTC Group of Companies, its President Mr. Jaime T. Cruz, Assitant to the President Ms. Gerlie dela Cruz, and the receptionist Ms. Jhen.

Sadly, there seemed to be one bad part for this year.. I received a grade of 2.6 in one of my major subjects which is Server Installation and Administration... And the result, I was automatically disqualified from the outstanding students of our batch.. I hope I received the (+)(-)1 error and my grade be 'changed'... heheheh

I will really remember 2007 a lot.. (1) for the unforgettable movies (transformers, simpsons, Pirates, harry potter, shrek 3).. (2) for the historcial events (Glorietta 2 tragedy, peninsula siege, and the 2007 elections)... Botolan, Zambales, Philippines - Amid the siege in Makati last November 29, 2007, led by none other than "Senator" Trillanes and his affiliates (who thought that the sick and tired Filipino people would aggressively respond to their "invitation"), the Reserve Command of the National Capital Region of the Armed forces of the Philippines still pursued on giving the people of Botolan, Zambales the true meaning of PUBLIC SERVICE... (if only "Senator" Trillanes and his colleagues and also all people in the government as well would realize this...that the people needs and craves for their services not their word-wars, their non-stop finger-pointing of who's responsible to what and who's corrupt and who's the less corrupt. SAWA NA KAMI!!!!) Back to topic..

Led by 131st Infantry Division and PSYOPS Group, headed by COL FABIAN, COL MARCELO B JAVIER, LTC HAYDEE G GELLANGARIN, COL JESUS G CABARRUS, COL ROGER A RAMONES, among others, conducted a Medical Mission and Outreach Activity in Taugtog, Santiago, Municipality of Botolan, Province of Zambales, Philippines. With volunteers from Fatima School of Nursing, AMA School of Nursing, OCW General Hospital, civilian volunteers, and of course, me.

BGEN RALPH VILLANUEVA, the Army Chief of Staff, was also there as guest of honor...

I've been to their past medical missios, but I consider this one as the most adventurous and most special of all. I get to spend my Bonifacio Day with our brothers in Botolan, Zambales, most especially the Aetas. I was asked to take photos and i decided to post them here in my blog... there was a sudden moment of excitement as kids were flooding the their church (which is by the way made entirely by their hands, as you can see in the photos)... the uniformed men gave the children candies, toys, relief goods, a small amount of financial sorts, and of course, smiles...

I don't want to sound corny or what so ever, but I really felt happiness and a little sadness, because of some the children's health condition... some of them are thin and I think lack resistance from viruses that can harm them... I talked to some of them and asked where they go to school at and they said that its quite far from where they reside...

Right then I can say to their faces filled with smiles that in their own little way.. they want to say "Thank You!" or 'Salamat Po'

I think its time for everyone to unite for the betterment of our nation and its people.. More than ever, healthy politics doesn't mean we are on the right track of a more effective democratic nation... D@mn all those who keep on destroying the nation... I really hope that you also feel what every youth feel about this country, what I feel about this country... Pity on you...

What a life, oh... what a life!

BTW, WWE fans are very ecstatic in Chris 'Y2J' Jericho's return in wrestling action on WWE Raw (I think the save_us promo and video is for the WWE itself...).

My two-month pup (that looks like a st. bernard) named Michael just died because of an accident outside our house... how sad...

My life by this time i think is going smoothly... I am quite satisfied with everything I have.. I get to play Gunbound, that by the way has recently upgraded the graphics and upgraded buying of item in terms of gold and cash... I get to play Rise of the Nations... I get to use my laptop more than ever and connect to the internet using our dsl line.. One thing missing is love... I really needed someone who will be there beside me... the only problem is I don't know when, where, or how to start...

I had a girlfriend once and i can say that love is just a result of a teasing and an immature relationship...

Far worse than this is that we never really had a formal break-up.. I just found out that she already has another boyfriend... i guess I'm the only one who gets the blame... I became jealous of a text message that one of my classmates and her close friend that was sent to her... I got very jealous and become ignorant of my emotions... I become tied up of the situation that I stopped communicating with her... Damn! This relationship sucks at all... I told myself: I'm too Good for her, anyway...

Now, here comes a girl that I felt something special... We got to talk, being groupmates for our thesis, and groupmates again in our case study... something really came up that triggers my feelings towards her... but the only thing is that I don't know how to tell her that i like her and i wanted to court her... Advise anyone?

Its been a few months since I started this blog... Phew! This was going to be an interesting period of my life... I'm currently finding a part-time job.. a job that I wanted to turn into a career...

My life started to go around and run smoothly when I started expressing myself through this blog... I think Im addicted to it... Other things that Im addicted to are: Pokemon (childish), Spongebob, WWE, Avril Lavigne, Computers, the-three-letter-word, Art of war, MadTV, HBO, MTV, and travelling...

Last Saturday (11-10-2007), I was at Botolan, Zambales for an inspection on the venue where my aunt's league will be holding the next medical mission...

we went to an area called Poonbato where some of our Aeta (Ita) brothers reside... I was amazed on how satisfied they are in their daily lives, I can't hardlt imagine living my life not as benefited as I am today... I can't even live a day without opening our laptop and surf the net... But their situation today is not like as "makaluma' or traditional than before... Now, they don't wear their ethnic clothings but instead they use casual clothes for their everyday activities... But I think the support from the government for them is very minimal... i can still see children who are thin and some of them beg to tourist for money or food... actually this situation also occurs inside Metro Manila... street children are still scattered everywhere risking their young lives in the fast-paced Metro where vehicles might be the cause of their early death... even in Makati, where the Philippines most famous malls, luxurious hotels, exclusive villages and high-profit companies can be found, also has beggars...

With an open mind, I can say that in this cases, the government should not be entirely blamed; I think it is not completely the President's fault why poverty is a problem in the Philippines. We, the Filipino people, should also be considerate. there are over 80 Million filipinos out there that also needs help.. If we only find ways to be productive to ourselves, then we can help fight poverty.. we all know that one of the government's main duty is to provide solution for poverty, but it is not their responsibility to give us money or directly give every one of us jobs that are fitted to our skills and knowledge. For example, a man who complains that he never felt the economic development because according to him he is poor, because he lives in a squatters' area, he has no money and he has no job and in reality this same type of complain can be heard if you go to the most populous part of the Philippines.. i think the problem is with the people themselves... if they ought to find a job instead of sitting pretty in street and drinking, they should be "wealthy" by now.. Come on!

Another thing is that Politics in the Philippines seems to be the poison for national development... If only politicians, including those in their "seats" and those who are not, can only find ways to shut their mouths up and start building "brighter" and "better" plans for all of us... The people who "voted" you do not pay taxes and do hard work just for you politicians your personal interests for power. I think even the moral-movers even wanted to dip themselves to the condiment of politics... let us try be more mature so that future generations can be proud of their harmonious past, oh.. by the way, some senators consider these "moves" as part of a healthy politics... okay... healthy politics, poor people, poor nation, divided nation... C'mon...

1. Why can't we unite for the betterment of the country and the Filipino people?
2. Why can't we support and hear each others suggestion and programs?
3. Why is there people who publicly say that the people or the masses hated the government but is very personal to that statement?
4. Why do we elect representatives who represent their personal and political side of the story instead of their constituent's?
5. Why is there written laws that can't be applied?
6. Why do politicians keep using "poor" people to express their political aspirations?
7. Why can't the government create a law that will state that winning politicians after every election will be the one in charge of cleaning the mess and junks of the previous election?

Survivor: China will be the fifteenth season of the reality television series Survivor. Applications were due on January 30, 2007. Around March 2007, about 800 applicants were selected for an interview by CBS. Out of those 800, about 48 semi-finalists were selected to go to Los Angeles sometime during April-May 2007 for an additional round of interviews. From these semi-finalists, about 16 were selected to participate in the show between June and August 2007.

The show will air on September 2007. Each contestant will receive "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu. Unlike the previous seasons, the “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast” slogan in the series logo has been replaced by Chinese characters. The characters translate to "compete in intelligence" (比智慧, bĭ zhìhuì), "compete in skill" (比技巧, bĭ jìqiǎo), and "compete in endurance" (比耐力, bĭ nàilì).

The show will feature two tribes with eight members each:

What the hell happened to IV-ACNA?

yeah right!

No professor is attending our course in CNMGT 6 - quantitative Techniques in Business. thanks to our "former" professor, now we are worried cause its already midterm week and nobody's gonna give us a midterm grade, and the midterm (FYI) is 40% of the Final grade...

On saturday, IV-ACNA will be going to a "educational trip" in out History course... We will be going in certain places in Cavite and the payment is P360.00 (well the P300 is for Transportation and the P60 is for "donation"... what keeps bugging me why is there an exact amount for the donation? And what organization or for what certain organization will our "donation" go? O c'mon! its not like we were born a year ago or so...

Well almost 80% of the ACNA Peeps are already having their OJTs... well good luck to those people... Im nearly finishing my OJT this month... And all i can say is a very big thanks to the Support Services Dept of Sun Microsystems Philippines, Inc for accomodating me and being part of their harmonious, busy, and wonderful organization... I sure learned a lot...

by the way, to all my classmates who haven't paid for our module in our Switching and routing.. no deadline has been determined for the second installment of our payment... if you want to just look for me, ahehehehe...

Hell, by the way the pre-defense presentation for our thesis (project proposal) is tomorrow, aug 17, friday, 1:00 Pm to 5:00 PM, i think it will be held at Lab 7 Bldg 2.
